Greatest paradoxus

In our times, everything has been changing with an incredible speed, never seen before. Technology entered our lives and keeps accelerating faster and faster.
The challenge is how we will nourish our inner structure, our human essence. The eye that allows us to savor, to appreciate an experience. The force that makes us miss something, the source, the beginning.
This is our Jihad. And everyone has his own Jihad. And we need each other to win this battle.

Peace and Freedom

You can't separate peace from freedom because no one can be at peace unless he has his freedom.

Malcom X

Anoche cuando dormía

Anoche cuando dormía
soñé, ¡ bendita ilusión!,
que una fontana fluía
dentro de mi corazón.
Di:¿ por qué acequia escondida,
agua, vienes a mí,
manantial de nueva vida
de donde nunca bebí?

Anoche cuando dormía
soñé, ¡ bendita ilusión!,
que una colmena tenía
dentro de mi corazón;
y las doradas abejas
iban fabricando en él,
con las amarguras viejas,
blanca cera y dulce miel.

Anoche cuando dormía,
soñé, ¡ bendita ilusión!,
que un ardiente sol lucía
dentro de mi corazón.
Era ardiente porque daba
calores de rojo hogar,
y era sol porque alumbraba
y porque hacía llorar.

Anoche cuando dormía
soñé, ¡ bendita ilusión!,
que era Dios lo que tenía
dentro de mi corazón.

" Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm "
Churchill

" You are young, my son, and, as the years go by, time will change and even reverse many of your present opinions. Refrain therefore awhile from setting yourself up as a judge of the highest matters "
Plato

" I do nothing but go about persuading you all, old and young alike, not to take thought for your persons or your properties, but and chiefly to care about the greatest improvement of the soul. I tell you that virtue is not given by money, but that from virtue comes money and every other good of man, public as well as private. This is my teaching, and if this is the doctrine which corrupts the youth, I am a mischievous person."
Socrates
